Yea my oldsmobile was a tight fit, had to shove the SWI-JACK module on top of the radio kinda with the short harness making it hard to get stuff situated during the finagling.

That and my headunit has a USB connection on a dongle from the back that im going to try to run into the console...the wire on it is long enough just a matter of the routing...Love memory sticks...skipping and jumping isnt even an issue....that pioneer DVD double din headunit that has a built in 6 disc changer is even more rediculious cause ill rarely be using discs anyway o.0

Heh the guy at best buy tried to tell me to wire the PAC-JACK directly to the wire coming off the steering wheel cause the resistance in the wire from there to the factory may mess it up. Could stick an ohm meter across 6-7 and see what the resistances come out to - pretty sure the resistances will be split far enough that your wire would have to be very bad to throw it that far out of tolerance and wouldnt even function with the factory head unit...

ok tis all done and working>=D I got in a bit of a rush and skipped taking pics of the harness.

    List of things used
    PAC OS-2
    PAC CM1
    PAC SWI-JACK
    Antenna adaptor
04-08 Grand prix Double Din in stall kit
GM24 Factory - Stereo Plug to Steal 2 Wires for A6 and A7 for SWI-JACK to the PAC-OS2 Factory GM24 Harness
    JVC AVX820

For the Wiring of the Factory Harness to OS-2 put 2 stolen pin / wires from other harness in A6 and A7. A7 is connected to the GREEN wire of the SWI-JACK. A6 is connected to the Yellow Constant Power wire(think A1).

i added the following to the splices between the PAC-OS2 - Stereo Harness to avoid using in line splice connectors.
SWI-JACK Ground to Ground through OS-2
    CM1 to same Ground splice
SWI-JACK Power to Red switched accessory provided by the OS-2 harness / Relay.
CM1 yellow constant power to Yellow constant power....doesnt matter where, just wherever's convienent.
CM1 Orange plugs into the harness on the radio side of the OS-2 per instructions.
I didn't like grounding the radio to the harness through the smaller wires of the OS-2. There is a bolt that is a good ground directly behind the stereo. I put a connector on the end of the ground so It could be placed under the washer of the bolt. The bolt was painted so i used a wire brush attachment on the dremel to make the contact points shiny.

Since mine is a DVD unit it requires being wired to the parking brake sensor to play dvd's - this was wired directly to ground of the OS-2 / Radio harness. Verified playing of DVDs while stopped, but i dont think its smart enough to know if its moving.

Unit has a USB connection from the back with a long cord - i routed it down towards the passenger side and out and will later see if i can run it under and into the console storage.

I forgot to plug the mic into the back of the headunit until after i had it all done. Will have to play with that later o.0

Other thoughts Test fitted moving the HVAC controls down into the storage position and removing the storage pod. the wires were a bit short to move the HVAC controls down tho. Reason for wanting to do this is making a gauge cluster to mount where the HVAC controls are since they dont need high visability and the gauges do.

CM1 Module is bloody loud - need to see if theres volume control in the DIC
Verified onstar works - OS-2 only mutes front speakers tho, even when wired to brown wire of the head unit - possibly something wrong there was under the impression the OS-2 would send a mute signal across the brown wire to the mute input of the stereo causing it to mute for the call.
And everything fit in the little bit of space above / below the stereo....barely. Had to cut some material off the install kit's lower piece to allow access to the button for removing the faceplate.
Also first car ive had with a removeable face plate - that seems like its going to get old quick o.0.
