I might be looking to replace my old head unit. Does anyone have a suggestion? It's just a thought now, but may become reality. I really like my Pioneer I have now, I've had it for 7 years. The new HU needs to be ipod compatible. I have stock speakers and two 12" kicker cvx subs, if that matters.

Oh yeah I remember looking at that. How do you like it so far? How is it as far as scanning through different albums and such?

Ok I'll have to keep that one in mind. It came down between a new HU or components, but I don't really have the money for those yet.

Hey there. Well my cousin had a really nice setup. He has an alpine head unit and it's great. He had bought it online for like a hundred something dollars and had it installed by best buy. A wire runs into your glovebox that connects to your iPod. Then you search through everything on the hu itself. Only bad part is is that if out have a lot of songs it can take a min to find it. Overall a great hu, even charges your iPod

Yeah it seems like there's no good way to find songs unless its double din. Like said before, I'll prob just make some playlists up
