ok, I wasnt sure on those radio interfaces and how it worked.

and Yeah that link from ZZP is about the same thing I have in my car, just one I had lying around the house though. the radio adaptors. maybe I didnt realize that it changed sizes.

um...I don't want to tell u nothing wrong on the 24/12 pin harness. since I can't remember I just took a look at my factory monsoon 6-disc xm radio and it has a 12 pin slot and 24 pin slot. sorry man I just cant remember whats what. been so long since I had that factory HU in.

and ya I know about the chimes and stuff. they are crap, my alpine is all straight wired now, no harness's. because of issues with those crappy things, I think mine was made by scosche or whatever.

Thanks! that's good enough for me to say its the 24 / 12 pin connector, gonna go ahead and order the stuffs>=D

...We should think about re-evaluating this http://www.grandprixforums.net/radio_install_info.php From reading the install docs and such and compatibility things the OS-4 shouldn't fit our cars without trying to figure out a custom harness. Although installer-parts lists the OS-4 for the 2006 GP's so there is conflicting data out there...

I see what ur saying the poster of that can edit his wording. ya, if ya need a pic of the rear of my factory monsoon, just post so...its not a problem, I try to be as helpful as possible, as there's plenty of stuff I don't know crap about and hope for future ppl help me with my issues...lol u must do alot of online shopping, sometimes I go that route...

Update - started getting the harness together

The SWI-JACK module req's connection to Pin A6 and A7 being wired to accessory.

The Factory to OS-2 Module harness didn't include A6-A7(and some others), So I bought a second GM-24 Connector to steal pins / wires from to avoid cutting into the harness and making it nice and easy to plug in no hassle

I'll be pulling it into the garage in the next couple of days to do the install...if all goes well ill take some pics of me harness work and write up a how-to for it.

Curious as to how i'm going to fit the OS-2, SWI-JACK, and CM1 Little black boxes into the Dash with the double din unit
