Hey everyone...I'm new here and I have read a couple pages of the thread but I haven't found the answer I'm looking for yet. I have a 2004 White GP GTP. I was wanting to make the interior lighting either blue or red. Not sure which yet but if anyone might have any input on which color and where I could purchase them. I was also considering black lights if anyone might know where to purchase those. I just can't seem to find any results so any help would be appreciated.

I bought a pair of red led strips to put underneath the dash and all i did was buy a cigerette lighter switch and wired it to there so i just plug it in and press the button and wala, looks pretty neat. Interior.jpg I'm also thinking about getting another pair and putting them on the bottom of the front seats so the back gets some light too, but i havent figured out how to do that yet...

Hello Gentleman, I have 2002 Grand Prix GTP coup and was wandering if a LED kit is available for installing an LED light in the back seats. I was thinking about installing a light in the center consul facing towards the back floor board or installing lights directly under the seats on the floor board.

Where did you get the subwoofer housing for you car? Also how did you light up the back seat floor board? Did you run lights under the seats for that?

So do LED replacements flicker and mess up or do they actually work? Was there ever a conclusion that i missed?

Just did my 04 with 194s, they work fine. If they don't come on you flip them around, bingo!!
They come on with door open. If you turn them on when in car with keys not in ignition, they are dim. Put keys in ignition, turn to accessory, they come on. A little quirk but worth the brightness. All-in-all they must work, otherwise we wouldn't do it.

i have red 194 wedges in all of my interiors and have NEVER had a problem with flickering or even really any dim problems.. granted they aren't very bright in the day but at night they are awesome.

That might of been with older style but I have not noticed any problems with mine in the front or my fog lamps

What i've also done is just replace all my interior light with 194 R, its the same light bulbs that where in there just it has a red coating around it... Not to bright at night but still looks good... once i get some money im gonna get me some LED's. Anybody have a suggestion on how many LED's i should get? like how many lights on a bulb? 5? 9?

I used 28led bulbs in wherever they fit which was most spots and then 14led for the smaller spots I believe.

20's aren't going to fit for you everywhere. maybe some places.. but i wasn't going to try and push them and make them tight fit. i'm thinking of taking my reds out of the dome lights and going white.

1.jpgthe 20s dont seem that big cause it looks likes the bulbs are smaller and closer together so yeah... burgandybullet where could you fit the 28s? the main places i wanna replace them on my 2008 are over head dome in the front, the footwells, and the lights overhead in the back...

I think that I fit them in the footwells, glove box, front driver and passenger door, and for some reason I think that I even got them to fit in the rear seat lights but cant remember for sure. I dont have a dome light. I have the map lights and had to get a different style for that.
