Yes you are, but you have to "jump" the remote wire to the pinkish lookin wire to leads to the Bose amp. If you look at your factory wiring leading to the HU, you will see it off to the right, you need to splice into that to run the amp, or buy the correct coupler that will retain features. I opted for the cheaper connector, it was like $50 bucks less and I only lost the chimes that were of no importance and spliced the remote into that wire to activate the bose amp.
