Where should I route the powercord from the battery to the amp? I have an 05 GT and there is not really any open holes in the firewall that the wire will fit into.

I always ran mine under the cars close the the frame rail or in it, ors dont have frame rails but the pinch weld will work.

Its much safer being if the cable shorted and burned up itll be against metal instead of cloth..

you can drill and seal the single hole you need in the trunk floor.

Won't the cord wear fast if it's under the car?

no, just use same gauge battery cable instead of one that comes in the kit, much cheaper and same lengths, if you want put it in some split loom before you secure it and itll be fine, the auto grade stuff just holds up to everything alot better.

Seriously... Dremel/Drill a hole... or just widen the existing firewall hole... then next to you make a smaller hole and to run a ziptie through to secure it- tight enough so it can't slack in or out...

i found a lot of info on this doing a search, or you could go to radioshack and buy a grommet and place it in the hole if you choose to drill. from what i've seen on here there should be a grommet at the bottom of the firewall behind the carpet on the passenger side of the vehicle.
