Thread: Running wires for an Amp and Sub

how difficult would it be to wire up my amp and sub to a stock radio. i dont feel like buying aftermarket, kinda wanna keep it stock now that i had my aftermarket stolen...

to put a amp on a stock deack u have to get a rca inter face it will add rca wires to the stoc deck then u just run a postitve (from batt) and run the rca wiers along with a remote wire to the amp wire them in and ground it add subs and a box and your done

Sounds simple enough.. i will be trying this once i finish my sub box and figure out how to mount the subs/amp.

Going to make a custom sub box for a couple of 10" Rockford Punch subs i bought for my old car a few years ago.

Do you have a link to where you bought your rca interface/where you ran your positive line?
