So what you're saying is get some composite 5.25" and that's it? Will any 5.25's work?
I do not have Bose. That might matter.
And,... did you you have to do anything with the bracket to fit the aftermarket speakers? Do I need any kind of wiring adapter for the plugs?

I wanted the whole tweeter assembly like original setup, but now I'm thinking Fuk it. Speakers are pretty cheap new

Remove old speaker, adapt wiring, install new speaker. That is it. Any 5.25 should fit. No Bose here either. No modifications to the bracket.

I didn't put the tweeters in as one had the wiring ripped out of it. They would have dropped right in though one the outer housing was removed.
