    you need to find the same ohm speakers and install them, nothing else will sound right. no the right ones are not cheap. even used can be a bit pricey.

    or you buy a new HU, and run all new speaker wires and then you can run normal speakers.

    So if I install a new head unit should I put in another amp, or is it not needed in most cases?
