    I had thought about doing just that as well, but I nixed the idea cause the stock 4" mid ranges suck. I upgraded them to Infinity Reference 4" speakers, but wound up dumping the whole set for a set of Memphis MClass 6x9's. I think eventually I will add some more 4" speakers, but at the moment its not really important.

    Its a judgement call really

    So your saying if i want to run new wire, just run the new wire and leave the stock wiring in place? ill probably have this car till it dies

    Well that is up to you. Like I said, its a matter of choice really, the stock wiring is tucked out of the way so its not really cluttering anything up and you can zip tie the aftermarket wiring to the factory speaker if you want to give it a cleaner look too.

    As for the wiring, I would recommend using a good brand of wire, and perferably something in the 12ga line if you plan on getting any high end Amps for your car.

    I am currently running RockFord Fosgate wiring, but I am looking to switch over to Monster Wire when the weather starts to stay warmer.
