What type of hose to you all use to replace that rubber hose between the tank and power steering pump. I replaced my power steering pump and used heater hose and I am worried it will split. Any help would be great.

    Thanks,
    Anthony

They sell universal power steering hose at Autozone and oriellys. Heater hose will probably split

if the end just broke off where it clamps to the pump trim it off and re fit it.

its a return line, so theres no pressure in it too.

not sure if that rubber line comes off the metal part of the line. if it dont, you'll need to cut the line, and fit new hose it it, or use a metal tube and splice the broken line to the new line.

I replaced the high pressure line with heater hose when I replaced my power steering pump. I just want to put the pressure line back before I have an issue.

you could use a compression fitting to re connect the cut line. or add new line with 2 compression fittings.

or rent or buy a flair tool and add line that way.

I could see the high temp business, sitting right next to the front cover, and the belt as well.

    Silly aluminum things.
