The bottom end will hold the power no problem, it's plenty strong for 500+ horsepower. It's the rest of the parts like the stock valve train parts the fuel pump/injectors that won't hold up. The AFM/DoD cam and lifters won't like a lot of horsepower and are prone to failure even if you turn it off in the tune. The injectors are tiny and won't support boost at all, same with the fuel pump.
Aaahhh I see that makes sense... Hhhhmmm some small upgrades like the exhaust , and intake and tune would be enough your saying..
