I bought a knock monitoring device I want to hook up for knock per cylinder and I need to hook into the signal wire for cylinder 1. I know it's in the group of wires that plug into the ICM under the coils but IDK which one it is. Anybody point me in the right direction?

dude you have 2 knock sensors that detect knock when its running. when it detects a hard enough knock it throws a code. why do you need to redesign what they thought up?

Ok, I shouldn't even have to explain this but I guess I will anyway. Some vehicles have over active knock sensors and some don't work at all. The unit I have allows for accurate calibration of the factory knock sensors along with knock per cylinder which however isn't possible on the 3800's since they use a waste type ignition but at least I will be able to see by pairs. I will use this mostly for high hp force induction ls engines but thought it would be fun to hook up to my beater. After you've tuned as many 1000+hp engines as I have then you can school me on why I need these.
