    alright guys...
long story short, ive been planning on running a gen4 hybrid blower setup. which i THOUGHT was take a ported gen3 case with gen5 rotors and boom gen4.
but until today i never had my two blowers side by side.
and as you can tell, the rotors mount up similarly, but aren't exact. i would really like to make the gen4 thing work considering i don't have the gen5 LIM and i really would rather not redo my perfectly good LIM gaskets.

i really want to make this gen4 thing work, so
anyone with any knowledge of this is welcomed!
    thanks

you just install it using a Gen 5 blower gasket and run an adapter to use a drive by cable throttle body on the 4 wheel drive by wire flange

dont tell me that... i just traded my gen5 to n* adapter plate today...

and i thought the manifolds were totally different? thats why you need the manifold to swap the blower

the bolt pattern is identical the opening is just shifted towards the snout almost seven eighths of an inch headset you can cut open the intake or you can just put it on and ignore it and be perfectly fine. plenty of guys put gen5 blowers on top of Gen III intercoolers

eaton makes gen 3 rotor packs that have the gen 5 rotor coating. I got mine from zzp and it ran about 400. I couldn't find anyone else that sold them.

ZZP coated the gen 3 rotors, eaton never put gen 5 coating on gen 3 rotors.

The rotor pack I got from zzp came in a sealed box from from eaton, it was basically double boxed.

its a new rotor pack, if you get your supercharger rebuilt and snout rebuilt, then you would basically have a new supercharger.

I don't, I've had the rotor pack for more than a year now. I think I kept the box for a while, but ended up using it for something. it was definitely a solid cardboard box. I think there are places that will recoat a supercharger rotor pack for pretty reasonable prices, maybe one can do the gen 5 coating.

Don't worry about messing up your lim gaskets. As long as you have the metal ones, which I assume you do, then you'll be fine. I've had my LIM off several times since I swapped to the metal gaskets.

Do you have a complete GenV blower?

I wasn't knocking you but just the price. Gen5 blowers are way over priced here. Pick and pull they are $35 I think I'll post a screen shot later if you don't believe me.
anyways I would just find one that works and use it.

I understand, there really is no need for a new supercharger. that's just what I chose to do.
