Funny that Pacecrappers are like $400 and they're 1 7/8". The old TOG X's were that big, too.

$2k? I can buy a GTP and build a motor for $2k, total. lolllll.

thats not what it says on their website.

Simply put, these are the best headers money can buy for the 3800 platform. Perfect fitment, 100% stainless steel, simple installation, complete. These are a must have for anyone with a goal of 300+whp! 1 3/4" primaries and a 3" exit.

1 5/8 is the stock size manifold primaries. SD's might be 1 5/8

If you have the money get the ZZPs, everyone that I have known that had them loved them.
In my opinion they are probably the best headers we have available.
They fit unlike most of the others.
    They bolt in unlike TOGs.
They don't leak like Pace****ters and SDs do.

Yes but stainless steel > mild steel.

i kind of did talk to her, we talked about either fixing it or parting the car out and moving on to a different project. she said to fix it instead of parting the car out. i showed her all the different options starting with a power log downpipe combo and ended with the 900 dollar zzp headers.

i thought this was the best option

OMG that weld is atrocious! lol

I promise you that's not sealed. x-ray would prove that, but then again it's probably to insignificant to make a difference.

    I remember my first weld.
    Kidding tho..

I bet that was a huge pain to weld, and I bet the rear crossover junction still leaks

I bet it leaks less than yours :P. I pressurized the pipe and sprayed with soap. Kept stacking them dimes until it stopped leaking. That's what it means by "stacking dimes", right? Well, I probably got about $62.50 worth in the middle weld alone!

But I don't hear it resonating in the drive up lane, and my wideband hangs around 14.7 instead of 15.1-5 when it leaked. Good enough for me but no way in hell I'd buy these headers again.

thats stacking snot, not dimes lol

a grinder would have helped that, then a re weld. 10 lb welds lol

Do you wax your butthole? Ask me if I care what I'll never see looks like lol. It doesn't leak now, tested as well as I could with blower in tailpipe and while running with hand. And it passes the McDonald's drive through test. The welds will rust out in 2 years or less likely, then I'll reevaluate.
