Has anyone tried this pump?I'm having a bit of trouble visualizing this install, any help would be appreciated. I'm using it in a 2000 impala, so it shouldn't have a venturi pump. Any tips?

Thanks, guys. Anything from your experience you can tell me to be ready for when I do mine? Any parts I should have handy to make it work?

I am planning to install this pump in the next couple of days and converting to E85

    Thanks!

Get the better hose clamps as shown in 91parkave's pic, and maybe some extra hose. I put a loop in my supply hose to prevent a kink. You going to solder the wires?

Where did you find your clamps? I used the stock hose and clamps that came with the pump. Losing pressure as soon as I turn car off.

I thought I read somewhere that the stock bendy hose holds up better to e85. You seem to be fine. Just regular fuel line?

The stock corrugated hose is great, and would probably be best. In fact, I spent the $8 on a new one, but no matter what I did, I could not it on the pump outlet.

I got the hose and the clamps at O'reilly. They had them behind the counter. Fuel injection rated clamps and hose. Supposed to handle the higher pressure of an EFI system. I think any EFI rated fuel hose should be safe for e85. The clamps were like $1.50 each.

You couldn't get the stock hose over the outlet? My problem is the aeromotive is smaller so I can't get it to seal. Was going to try some Permatex 1. I'd rather just have a good fit. Those clamps should help.

Remember if you're gonna use regular rubber hose it must be rated for constant gasoline submersion don't just buy off the shelf

did you guys have a return line on your stock pump? The AEM pump has a hole there and the instructions to make sure it's not obstructed. What did you guys do with that?
