The title says it all. I bought a Walbro 255 fuel pump from intense a couple of weeks ago and I was thinking about installing it soon. I was wondering if anyone who has installed a pump on an 04 has any suggestions. Specifically, i'm worried about the fit in the fuel container as i've read differing things on a few threads here. Like should it just be a drop in easy install or will i have to hack up some stuff?

I would rather know what i'm getting into before i try and make it work and figure out it doesn't. Thanks

The 04 pump is one year specific. Is your walbro a venturi pump? If so, do the standard bucket swap from a venturi canister. If it's not a venturi pump then you need to basically punch a hole in the bottom of the bucket and never run it low on gas

Non-venturi. That's what i was worried about. So i gotta hack a hole in the bottom of the bucket. huh.

What's this never run it low on gas gimmick? I've seen that before in other threads but wtf? Like never below 1/4?

On a slightly different but still on topic, topic, does anyone know how far down i can run a stock fuel pump pulley size wise? I have the sh1tty zzp rewire, but i was hoping to go to a 3.0 on E85 with the stock pump. Anyone have any experience with this? Current mods in sig.
