Hey all,
Preface this by saying, there is no practical/logical reason to do this, just thinking it would be a cool gimmick....
Say you have a switch wired in series with the PCM control of the boost bypass solenoid. (A big red button on your center console or dash, etc.)
You go WOT, and the S/C stays in bypass (building less boost obviously), then you press the button (bypass closes), and it gives you an extra slap of speed.
Seems like the wiring would be very simple, and wiring it in series with the PCM means that you won't activate it under conditions where the PCM would consider it unsafe to do so.... thoughts? Could be a cute little project. I was thinking about tying the performance shift pins into the same button, kind of like a "performance mode" that changes several characteristics in one go.
