I have a 97 Grand Prix GTP 3.8. The rubber housing that goes from the air filter housing to the throttle body is cracked open and I am trying to locate a new one. What is the specific name of this part? I have search for "air intake tubing", "air intake housing", "air intake hose" and any combination of these but cannot find one.

junk yard would be your best bet. last on i bought was 12 bucks. and i left the pcm inside, score! lol

or ebay sells em too. most of the time they sell the whole air box with the intake tube. you can use a newer cars intake and air box too. much better set up, it dont have the 2 90* elbows. 99 ups are the better box.

one this style will fit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Impala-Regal...83b34e&vxp=mtr

Need that '99+ coolant bottle if you do the newer airbox. Or just make a pvc hot air intake for $10 + filter. Anything is better than those double 90* bends, and the pcm blocking half the airflow through the box.
