    Update-

Found out my brother can't weld aluminum because he does not have the correct liner for the softer aluminum wire,Said the aluminum wire since it is softer tends to get kinked up. He said Ideally you're suppose to have a spool gun wich he also does not have. Other than those two things being missing he would have no problem doing it.

So it looks like I may just have to find someone else to weld them or else go the epoxy route.

BTW Scotty that brass thing is called a ''welder's helper''

I wouldn't think that much but I could be wrong. Someone dyno'ed before and after a gen 5 install and after he picked up around 32 horsepower with that being the only thing he changed. So that's the main reason i'm going with the gen 5. Even if I only see 10HP It will still be worth it to me!

can you take more pictures of the outlet. i would like to actually see what you did. is that part curved and you took out the curve of it? it should curve out towards the bottom as well, to release the compressed air more smoothly instead of a sharp angle.

Right that's all I did. Made it slightly larger and redid the curve on the bottom just for that reason.

If your talking about shauns build, he also went from a ported TB to a N* and LQ4 maf when he switched blowers IIRC. So the gains from swapping SC is not as large with out a TB swap. At his power level his TB was holding him back some. He also had a home ported gen 3 before so depending on how his porting was the power gains from the swap are not as cut and dry as you are saying. The car was also retuned before going back to the dyno so that can play a large factor as well. Not saying the Gen5 isnt worth it but those gains are not always that common from just swaping on the new blower and nothing else.

Also is there a reason you are going with the IS4 cam? A custom cam tailored to your build would be better suggestion. That or an XPZ cam, somthing that was ment to work well with a small blower like the M-90.

Well that's all he said he did when he posted that on 3800. I was not personally expecting those gains although i'm sure there is going to be some improvement.

I was/am having a real hard time picking cams. What custom cam maker would you suggest? Cam motion? Ed curtis?

Well I was not saying that they done do them or sell them but I don't think they actually make them themselvs. But instead probably use a companay that does....like comp cams or cam motion and sell them under their own name....

But I could be wrong. Thats what zzp and intense does anyway. Regardless i'll check it out. Thanks

well yeah he doesnt grind them, but he creates the specs and then has one ground depending upon your setup and the rest of your valve train components. it is something i would seriously look into if you had the time and money.
