if i jack up my 97 gtp i guess i could fit a 25" tall stack of intercooler cores under it
your limited at about 2.25" without weaseling with a buncha mounts and cradle spacers. so a full size IC and maybe a 1/4" spacer (im assuming you have a 3/4" phenolic)
no difference in the stack eight of a gen3 vs gen5
I have heard that a gen v is taller at the t.b. but i dont know if it will fit
That's why they make a turn down adapter for the GenV. It is a longer blower.
I ran the zzp 2.25" IC, GENV + adapter + N*.. no turn down. With my GTX hood. Fit fine with no spacers.
The turndown was made for 04+ cars.
I'm running my 2.25" intercooler. I've bolted up L67 and N* under a 2002 and 2003 bonneville hood.
It's a tight fit! Not sure I've heard of anyone running thicker than 2.25 without doing cradle spacers, notching the hood or both on any vehicle.
I found your intercooler. It's not very descriptive.

Its not descriptive at all but i talked to the seller and by the pics of the engine its a zzp wbody store i/c i wanted to try and keep the phenolic spacer but its not worth the hassle i dont really want to deal with the pcv system i have been looking for a clean setup and install i might just sell the ssic, spacer, and full size and get the hybrid by the way the same seller has other 3800 performance parts
I posted his Australian RWD m90 L67 on the forum. Not many in the states.
