There is a boost bypass valve. Not sure how people handle it in a top swap.
Zzp sells the boost bypass seloniod harnass and the map sensor harnass..those are the only difference in wiring when.top swapping.
And injectors...
Injectors are only different on 01+
THe boost bypass vale doesn't need to be wired. Basically the main advantage of having it wired is so the boost will cut out when traction control kicks in while accelerating... So if you absolutely must have that make sure you get the wiring kit and tune for it. Otherwise just leave it unplugged and let the lower nipple on the BBV see atmosphere. Also, the map sensor. You'll need a 2 bar map sensor from either an L67 or an L32. Either will work, however the L67 MAP will require a diff plug than the stock L36 MAP plug, so get an L32 if possible as it has the same plug as the L36 map for some reason.
If i use the l32 map sensor do i need anything to secure it down?
if i use the l32 map sensor do i need anything to secure it in place?
the L-67 has a bracket for the map sensor... i'm not sure who it is or the name of the thread but someone on here has a couple L67 map sensor brackets for sale. just dig around in the first couple of pages of the For sale section and you will find it. otherwise hit up a local junk yard. (the l67 bracket should work just fine i would think) i just have mine ziptied down though lol
hey i was feeling generous so i found the thread for you. I wont speak on the integrity of the seller as I haven't purchased from him nor do i know him but he claims to have what you need. http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...Want-Gone-ASAP
