Thread: Blew an effin lim gasket

Sittin on the side of the interstate right now waiting on my brother and a tow truck. Was headed to my moms for Christmas. Boy am I pissed off!!

more like a coolant elbow, 10 dollar fix. hurry up before the parts store closes.

you take the alt bracket off and replace the two elbows, they have a metal set now. they tend to crack or blow clean apart.

at least it wasn't a LIM gasket

Yup quick trip to the parts store and your back in business no need for a tow truck.

My upper elbow cut loose last night. Broke off both ends at the O-ring groove. Fortunately I already had the aluminum ones on hand. It's definitely not a hard fix.

It seems like an epidemic lately. Mine let go back on Thanksgiving weekend. I fixed mine in a gas station parking lot.
