im so glad our jalopy is gonna end up over 1000 lbs lighter...with a crapton of weight removed above axle centerline....

weight savings is great. but where the weight savings is also helps, every gram you can shave off the top/rear of the car is incrementally better than a gram removed near the CoG.

the goal is to put as much mass below and forward of the front axle centerline as you can get, and reduce it everywhere else.

hack off the roof and roll in a convertible....
