hey guys i recently was having problems with my boost number because i was running a top swapped l36 with xp cam 3 inch hi flo catted DP and CAI... basically everything except headers andf i was only getting 4 psi of boost with a 3.4 pulley. i checked everything and my bbv is working right and everything is wired correctly from the vacuum lines down to the electrical components. I've done some research and some people suggested i drop the pulley again but idk what pulley size i could possibly run now. this black friday I'm hoping to get zzp headers and down pipe because i would really like to drop the pulley so i can get the most boost and power out of my engine as possible. any thoughts on what pulley i can drop to?

You need something to scan KR with first you can't just guess what pulley you can run and hope for the best. You need to know if it's knocking or not.
Squirrels are my engine. I need a Ford Regal

If you dont have an aeroforce or some type of gauge to scan the car with buy one! Pulley size doesnt mean crap if it knocks...........

post some pics of what you got going on vac line routing wise. somethings not right there. with out headers you should be seeing a lot more boost.

    you scanning for KR?

thats the one thing i haven't done yet and i think thats where i might be having problems in KR because i think the cpm is bleeding off the boost at 4 to 5 because i might be getting knock but I'm not sure because i haven't scanned for it and i have zzp basic pcm and i think they deleted the code for that on. my next step was to get it tuned because i feel like zzp's is just so inefficient for what the car should be coin. i thought i would be seeing at least 8 to 10 psi for the 3.4 pulley i have on now but since i don't have the aeroforce whats another method of scanning for knock besides hp tuner because i don't have that either?

    where in NJ are ya?

you can buy a torque app if you have a droid phone, thats scans for kr. as well as a ton of other live data.

or a aeroforce also works real good for live info.
