news to me lol thats a false statement.

now overkills trans tune can kill a tranny fast, i know of a few guys who's trannys let go from it. i dont have that tune.

shift kit up line pressure, makes the trans shift faster and firmer, making the trand last longer if driven like a normal person, aka not beating the tar out of it daily.

trans tune can make the tc lock up sooner at light throttle make it shift at higher shift points. up the line pressure more if you want to. theres a bunch that can be done.

a lot of us are rocking the billboost trans tune. we all love it. ( those of use with a tuner that is )

Probably won't burn it up. Much more likely to break hard parts in it though.

K&N is garbage. Just shove a filter on the end of the throttle body. Dyno proven makes no difference on our cars.

Basically, the supercharger makes it super hot anyways, the few degrees difference a CAI has, makes no difference after it is turned to magma in the heaton m90.

i got used headers for 100 bucks. used press on 3.4 for 40 shipped iirc. came with a loaned pulley puller too, that i had to ship back of course. set of rockers for a better then a good deal, and a loaned dhp, that i later bought lol

my mod list was more then cheap to get.

having a tuner is key tho, even if you cant tune like me, theres help out there. bin files can be emailed and adjusted and mailed back and re flashed. but you need a tuner on your end to install it. reading and flashing the pcm is the easy part. anyone can do that part.

you need a dhp to install it. or send your pcm to someone with dhp so they can put the trans settings in it.

and i have both a shift kit and bills trans tune. bills trans tune has the stock shift points and stock line pressure. so your odds of breaking hard parts are less.

i wish i knew. i bought the trans used from max. it came with a shift kit and a hardened 4 th hub. bill and max both did the work, and neither one remembers what kit it was.

the transgo is one of the favs here, and theres another one people like as well. both are like 40 bucks on ebay.

the trans tune is just that, its the trans part of the bin file. bill had done this tune and passed it around. all of us who have it like it a lot.

Oh...So a pcm tune is a totally different thing. Is that what you are saying? If I do the mods in my Sig, will I need a pcm tune with trans tune. Or is it just a Trans tune.

    Thanks Buddy Ol' Pal......Lol!

trans tune is part of "tuning" the pcm.

the only way to get is to have it installed with dhp.
