I have an 04 comp g and put almost the same setup you're trying to do on early last month. SD headers, intake, colder plugs (2 stage), 180*t Stat and I got an overkill tune. Before I dropped pulleys I had no knock whatsoever for over two weeks. I monitored it almost everyday and it never had more than one or two instances and never more than .03. I put an intense mps on Oct 1st with a 3.5 pulley. Since then monitoring every time I go anywhere over a five minute trip, I'm seeing up to 2.5 degrees sometimes. Mostly less than one degree but occasionally over 2. You will still probably have knock on a Gen 3 at a 3.4 pulley with that setup. Maybe a dyno tune could get rid of more, but its a crapshoot. But, IMHO if its less than stock, I'm rolling with it. If it Blows, get another. That's my plan.
