Like I said I'll have the codes soonish. I am from the Marshall area of Minnesota but I am currently in North Dakota doing an 8 month engineering internship for Bobcat Company until December.

When replacing the fuel pump resistor I ended up slipping and cutting what appears to be a vacuum line of some kind (at least the blade was sharp I guess). Since I patched it with heat shrink and electric taped the heck out of it, I have maybe had the aforementioned problem one time and the car did run once I gave it gas to start it. Pulled codes and got a fuel pump circuit code that was stored and a P1652 "Fan 2 Relay Control Circuit". Erased the codes, drove 2 hours home, and checked again. Only thing left is the Fan 2 Relay Control Circuit code. I have noticed that the driver's side fan runs at about half speed and the 30 amp fuse keeps blowing. I am confused as to why the fan runs at all even when the fuse is blown or removed. Engine does run hot in city driving conditions or if the car is stopped and running after driving a while.
I'm hoping that the starting problem is remedied, but I will definitely be back if it isn't. Any advice on how to test/fix the Fan 2 Relay problem would be great. Is something in the fan assembly bad, a relay, or the wiring/wiring harness?
