So I'm making the switch to e85 in November. Just had a quick couple questions. Where is the cheapest to get a fuel pump to run e85. And I have headers and intake. Was trying to figure what pulley I could run with this setup. I was thinking 3.4/3.3. What are your guys thoughts?

there is no set pulley "you" can drop to.

every car is different, so its as always best to start big and work your way down till it knocks, then if the kr cant be tuned out, you pulley back up a size.

So what, the info is out there, search harder.

Walbo 250 and injectors, tune. Done, have a good day and see what it likes. Nothing is set in stone for what you can run.

    This.

    Scan scan scan

That's the only sure fire method that will tell you what YOU can run! Every car is different what works for one guy may not work for another. I suggest grabbed some various pulley when they pop up in the classifieds and go from there then sell whatever ones you don't end up using.

I hear good things about AEM e85 320 pumps there about 120shipped on amazon.
Although not sure how that will effect yalls venturi pump for some model years.

I smell a overall E85 sticky coming soon

Cold starts suck. I personally wouldn't run it anywhere it drops to around freezing. Im not saying it freezes but E85 and cold weather sucks.

Lol... It's almost counter intuitive to ask such a question, you looked at vendors...? They didn't show their prices?
Well let google be your friend, just look again and note the prices and pick the one who shows the cheapest!!! : )

E85 works great in the winter or summer. If you tune it right, meaning no putting in some arbitrary IFR value. Set up your fuel right, and bump your cranking spark up a couple of degrees and you wont have an issue. Also E85 DOES change depending on season. from E85- ~E70.

You ever run E85 in the winter of Arizona? I promise you its nothing like in ND or even DC.

I started using E85 last Feb while in DC and it takes a while to start when its cold!

colorado too, lik i said all depends on how you tune your ****. couple extra degrees of cranking spark helps out big time.

Good luck doing this with a 3800 pcm.

V8 computers have alot more on the table to work with.

91 likes to hear himself talk about how awesome he is.

Reality is a stock tune with ifr adjustment done will start perfect in any temperature. I used the remote starter in my stock tune 97 gtp through our record setting cold winter last year on a bone stock tune. FACTORY STOCK TUNE.

Your reality is warped. Its already been proven. And you still need to change your signature cause it its been proven otherwise

You can tune the car to start in any weather.
Also, you *can* fit the AEM pump into a non venturi canister. Frost and I have it done right now It just requires modifying the little rubber thing that seals the pump to the canister where the sock comes out. By modifying I mean cutting so it fits. Only down side is you have to be careful when you get down to a 1/4 tank because sharp turns and heavy acceleration will cause fuel starves and the car will die....

Yeah, find a gas station.... haha kidding...

Nothing yet, havent really looked into it. I'm sure I could add some kind of a pump that goes lower in the tank but honestly, its not really a big issue. Running a fuel pump that low isn't exactly good for it either...
