    Hey everyone,

I have a 2000 GTP that is throwing the MAF code and misfire code. It runs alright sometimes and runs very rough or just flat out dies other times.

I am going to swap out the MAF when I get home, but if that is not it - does anyone have any other ideas?

check the fuse box for a blown fuse, @ 26 iirc or 27.

what code you getting? theres more then one maf code. low voltage one could be the fuse or bad wires to the maf.

dont use a after market maf. best to get a used oem maf, they run around 40.

I don't remember the specific code, I'll run the scanner when I get a break at work and post the specific code.

running cold..need a t stat is my guess, like its stuck open. https://www.google.com/search?q=P012...m=122&ie=UTF-8

low voltage check the wires and fuse. http://www.obd-codes.com/p0102

the po300 is misfires multiple. last tune up? maybe time for one.

car off unplug the maf, then start it. if it runs better most of the time the maf is bad.

Can you drive it without the MAF for short times, or should it just idle?

if it runs better yes, just dont go beating on it. drive like an adult.

dont remove it, just unplug it.
