XP is a great cam...I street'ed it everyday in all conditions...you can run a XP just fine on stock heads...it is the XPZ that needs a bit more love.

XPZ doesnt need ported heads to run it, but it needs ported heads to run well. it is a smaller cam, but makes a ton of power on the right setup.

i personally wouldnt buy any of ZZPs cams unless i wanted to pick up a NIC.

    ic: 400

fmhe: Air to Water Radiator (whats difference between this and 101?)

    pump: 79.99 with 1/2 fittings
    ZZ Performance

and hoses...whatever per foot at 1/2" so its a decent setup, would be about the same...cam can wait i agree...for same price i should get the obx headers huh?

What IC costs $400? Unless you are building it all yourself...which should be fun...

yeah, just clamp it all up then go to muffler shop to weld it in. minichopper has obx and he says for price cant be beat, just get someone to weld them up. looks like could be bolted together...but i dont trust clamps for too long...so i guess the ic setup is even more than the cam...maybe i should hold off on ic and cam til later? do it in stages...lol. it would be about 800 up front then, then about 600 later, then another 400..so for about 2k i can have a decent setup, not too bad at all i would say!!

i have been talking to him about stuff, and we have discussed prices but yeah, mount it all up and plumbing...i am aware. i think i will just do it in stages if i do it. s/c first with mps, 3.4 should be ok, and headers. then next step is cam OR ic, or vice versa...could do both same time, if i have the extra money...lol

Just be sure not to drop pulley sizes until you let it breathe...knock is what destorys these cars...too small of a pulley and you go boom

DONT buy the obx unless you have access to a welder. They dont include clamps, and you wont be able to anyways, they just werent made right. Also, the crossover is all wrong, you have to cut and reconfigure it. Otherwise, they are decent, so if you have a welder, you have good headers for $350 and exactly like the ss ones with one joint

if you buy that pump with 1/2" fittings, you will be restricting the core. The one i use has 3/4" inlet/outlet.
