Hey guys my 2000 gtp has developed an odd problem. When I start the car it starts right up fine but will almost immediately struggle to stay running. It will die after about 2 or 3 sec after start up chugging and trying to run the entire time. I can keep it running if I put my foot on the pedal and keep it around normal idle. Obviously the car runs better with me helping it but it still doesnt sound perfect.
This problem started about 1 month ago. Car ran fine and I got some gas and it wouldnt stay running. I ended up bending the 85 pin back on the relay and unplugging the maf and the car ran good and got me home without dying or struggling at all. I cleaned the maf up and the car went back to normal up until about a week ago.
I put a new IAC in back before this happened cause my idle was a little odd if that helps. Ive tried 2 dif mafs (both spotless) and just put in a new fuel filter yesterday. Checked for vac leaks and nothing came up. Fuel pump primes and I can audibly hear it when I turn the key. My last guess would be the FPR but when I pulled the line off no gas came out and apparently if gas comes out then its bad. As far as CELs go I cant tell you for sure if I have one realted to the problem. I usually have on one for the rear 02 and the light comes and goes cause Im usually disconnecting the battery because sometimes my key wont come out with the car dying and locking the key in.
Any help/suggestions would be awesome. Thanks!
