So I go to put it into gear. Nothing. But if I push the button to realse it. It goes into work any idea

So when you move the gear selector to "D", you get nothing? Or will the shifter not move? Check the transmission fluid level first if the car just won't move. If its that low, you'll need 3 or 4 quarts plus you have a leak to fix before you cause damage.
I put 7 in mine and it didn't even register on the dipstick. I checked with the transmission temp at like 170 and car running idling in park. I put 2 more in, still nothing. I put like 3 more in and now its within the lines on the dipstick. Unless I somehow miscounted the 7 quarts Autozone said I needed and sold to me =P

If its not what Eric said:
Try STANDING on that brake pedal HARD one time. Theres an interlock present that may be interfering. Still no go? Is the key release working OK?
On the ATF level, I had one of mine upside down for about 40 minutes and lost about a gallon. Wouldn't move until she gulped down about three quarts so the level has to be fairly precise just so it will move. By the way if you ever want a super nasty mess, mix ATF and mud together and sling it under the hood!
Don't know yet. Was driving perfect for a hour around town. So we thought we were good. So I went to go home on the high way. On the high way it started bucking and Rpms jumping all around. And then died. Car starts right back up but when you go to take off Rpms start jumping all over the place. Runs perfect at idle. And in park and neutral when revved
I'll figure it out. And yes she deserves a great big kick. All in all though the engine ran strong and great for the first 40 minutes. The motor I got runs very well. On first start up it even started on the first crank. so I'm very happy I got a great motor from the junk yard. And no. Hell no. No msds
