Started the car after I cleaned the maf and air filter and because of a code im getting for the maf and next thing the car shuts off!.. odd so I turn key to prime the fuel and I dont hear the fuel priming by the rails nor the gas tank so the fuel pump just took a dump... but my question is the fact that my maf is getting a code could be why my car is runnin rich? Bad fuel pump? Fuel filter change? Also im still getting a lot of kr which could climb to 14.9 but could that because of fueling becsuse I dont have boost being as I took the belt off thanks

Soak the threads with penetrating oil let it sit and use the appropriate wrench size.

Try using a flare wrench it always has done the trick for me.

I unhook the quick connect side, Put vice grips on both the line nut and the filter. Turn filter while holding the line nut steady. That way you will not hurt the rusty crusty line
