Ok! Now as I was washing oil thru the valley and emptying the rest of the coolant (WATER) out from radiator, Small ice came out of the lower hose! I proceeded to take the oil drain plug out to rinse oil thru and found that the driver side freeze plug came out!! Really starting to piss me off lol... but Im still going to shoot for using this block at least until I can save up to get another! Opinions?

BTW, the freeze plug still looks good as in no rust or anything! I gently tried to push it in their to see of it would hold and it will definitley have to be tapped in their! Dont know if thats a good sign or not~!

clean that plug hole, lightly sand it clean, then install a new freeze plug. yes it needs to be tapped in there.

you may want to do chemical flush after you get it running, then flush and add new coolant, its awful rusty looking.

the front pistons look much better tho. the deck could be a bit cleaner.

you can spray all the exposed metal with wd-40 it will prevent any further rust.

wd-40 stands for water displacement 40th formula. its was made to keep bombs from rusting while in storage and stuff like that back in the day.

As Scotty said throw some chemicals or something in the coolant to clean all that rust in there.
