Crap, my AutoTap doesnt look like that. I need to upgrade I guess.
I thought John was referring to the fact that the emissions testing shows incomplete, if thats not the case, slap me and let me know what we should be looking at or for.

You are completely correct in that the current will find the path of least resistance. There is little you can do about that. However, and this is the big one with respect to the engine, that plug bottom is open to the combustion chamber. This means that the spark 'sees' the whole a/f mixture and the chamber and the flame front propagates much better. This is the whole premise behind the age old technique of Side Gapping spark plugs.
So with that respect, it is a viable plug. Price? Yeah, maybe. Effective? Based on what I see and understand of plugs I would say so. That would be why there is 4 areas for the spark to jump to. One wears out you got the others to keep going.
i wont ever put another ngk plug in my car i hate them nothing but problems.
*do not get iridium plugs in supercharged cars also (ngk tr6i- iridium)
edit: didn't see your post, a while ago I was told to stay away from iridium plugs in s/c cars because they were harmful in a way... I'm trying to find that post/reason...
iridium is what they come with stock.
btw this would worry me about running the BRISK:
BRISK PREMIUM LGS - Type spark plugs are not suitable for underpowered (weak) ignition systems where cold start problems or high pressure spark blow-off can occur
They do make an iridium plug too, but there were no foot notes on them.
Interestingly enough the recommended plug for the GTP was the GOR15LGS with up to +50 additional HP, but the GO14IR (iridium) was recommended for stock +100HP.
First off thank you to all for the great responce and the helpfull hand
to point some things out... She is fixed
Well don't i ever feel stupit.....
I have been out to that darn car 8 times checking things out
wires lines ect... and nothing until i just realized
i haven't been checking the plug at the back of the motor left hand side...
so i pop the hood and just get my hand in there because of the stut bar
and wiggle the plug wire it seems tight till i pulled it.... sheesh
when i pull on it it came out easy..
then i realized that the clip did not catch on the plug at all...
after 2 attemps i finaly got it on and the car runs really sweet and sounds great at woooot...
Thanks to all for the time and responces given to help out with this...
Now to go get my new plugs lol
John
I am going in about 1 hr to get these plugs ( BRISK ) and have them put on,
i will let you know if it is true or not if you can feel the difference or not...?
i have about a 68 mile trip back to find out ...
are the 104's the ones that i should run with a 3.4 pulley
The BRISK plugs i got is ---> GOR15LGS
These are the same heat range as the 104's...
I think these have to be one of the best things i
have done so far for the car----> No B.S..
Yes you can hear the difference and
Yes you can feel the difference no ****.....
are they worth the money ?
I don't know yet but i will keep every one up dated
My Feeling so far... these are just frigging awsome plugs
my car is alive and i am sitting here in shock of what
i just went through.
All i can say is seeing is beliving... I'm impressed.
John
^^X2 104's are great for our set up.

Yeah i was beside myself trying to fig it out...
until i realized that i never really checked that one..
Glad to here you like your plugs. I wonder how much boost you can run on those before blowing out the spark. I would love to try these, being a spark plug nut. But since Brisk warned against using these with an undisclosed amount of boost, it would be a shame to buy, try and it fail. I see you have basic mods. Can you do a scan and see how your engine does? Please please.
What plugs did you have, mileage and condition?
I emailed BRISK about what plug to use on a mildly modded 3.8l s/c V6 with about 11PSI, and got this response today:
Hi Lee,
the spark plug you need is Brisk Silver Racing G14YS. That is a spark plug specially designed for forced induction applications, nitrous or methanol injection.... and we have many vehicles with over 3500Hp running the Brisk Silver Racing plugs and setting world records. The LGS is excellent choice for N/A and stock boost forced induction applications. Your vehicle have powerfull ignition system and will handle the GOR14LGS plug at your boost level, but due to the higher boost and altered A/F ratio the lifespan of the plug will be relatively short.
Hope this info will help.
Best regards,
Chris
Hi Chris
yeah i sure will
do a scan for you...
I will put the scan on and do a long run with it
and post up the findings....
The plugs i just took out were installed in Sept 29th 2007
and were AC Delco 12568387 -- ITR 4A -- 15
I believe this is a stock plug for the GTP's..
The scan that is on here now was taken while sitting in the parking lot,
and was done as it just warmed up..
I will do a proper reading and post it up soon.
I will find out what plug the one guy is useing..
as he has alot of boost i believe around 10 or 12 PSI
But don't quote me on that as i am not sure..
and has a cam rockers et... he is in the 12 sec club so has
some work done.. --->He uses the same plugs GOR15LGS
we went for a long run tonight to Toronto which is about 135 miles
from here on the 401.
All i can say is wow awsome responce and power is right there.
As is it is hard to tell jumping from the AC Delco to these,
and would like to test the 104's and these to see the difference..
Thanks John
That is to bad..
I hate that when companys
will not answer questions or responces..
I'm going to give them a call also..
Thanks John
