Does fuel pressure come up on the aeroforce guage?? I have a pretty much brand new acdelco fuel pump that was installed several months before this happened.
Scottydogs.....how is that tool used?? lol never heard of it
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
you should be able to check it at the fuel rail.
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
its a inspection camera the tip fits in the spark plug hole, and you can see whats going on in the cylinder.

you can make one too, google it. search plumbing drain inspection cameras. theres a few how to make your own on youtube. for very cheap.

O yea! duh!
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
I am yet to see an engine that eats plugs like that that didn't have chipped pistons.

I don't disagree Joe but mine weren't
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
the fact its pushing air out the oil fill is not good.
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
Terrible grammar I know^^
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
machinegunsquid suggested a bad PCV valve causing air coming out of the oil fill port. That would be the best case scenario. I just picked up a new one for $3 but haven't put it in yet.
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
What should 104s be gapped at with my setup?
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
chipped pistons = blow by. she gonna be a smoker when you gets them new plugs installed.

What should they be gapped at? I forget... .045? .050?
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
50 is ok. its gonna misfire anyways i bet. 60 is stock.
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
Yep, the combination of blow by pressure and the conditions of the plugs do not look good. Chipped piston def seems to be the consensus
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
why do you think its going to misfire?
Re: Major Problems-Blown gaskets
So what should be my next step? compression test? or scope? or replace spark plugs and pcv valve since I have new ones here???
