I moved the ground and still no start. Found out it was a bad coil. Luckily I had extra ones and that fixed the starting issue. Now I have a different issue, it seems I messed up when I put the wires back.

I have 2 questions I hope someone can answer:
    1. From the coolant temperature sensor, where does the other end of the wire plug into?

    2. Where does this wire go:

There should be a wire loom the goes across the front were the injectors are, that should plug in somewhere around there.

does this help? theres a short pig tail harness off the temp sensor, then it plugs into a harnees across the front to the coil wires iirc.

Car runs now woohoo! However I have a high idle issue. She's idling around 2000rpm. I didn't detect any vacuum leaks and no check engine light yet. Only drove it home about 10 miles (15km).

double check the throttle cable and cruise cable are clipped in right and no holding the TB open.

vac leaks are very possible, spray some carb cleaner around the vac lines, if the idle jumps up higher you found the leak area. move the lines around a bit to if you dont get a reaction at first try.

I'll do that tomorrow when it's light out. I did have to tape up one line that broke and one T junction because it was badly cracked. I also think it might be the new maf sensor too. I might try the old one back as well.

I also have to share this with you because it's funny. I had a blonde moment. I live in Canada and the speedo is in kph. I forgot to change the DIC to metric so the HUD was displaying MPH and I was looking at kph on the speedo and thought that the HUD was off!

i dont know your parts stores up north there. but pick up some new vac line. about 4 feet, and replace the old crap. you need 2 new Tee's as well, i got some small white tee's at advance auto here, a 2 pack for 2 bucks. vac line is a buck a foot here, or less.

if you got taped up lines they are leaking. also check the fat vac hose off the TB, it loves to crack.

I actually replaced the one on the TB a few months ago when I changed my boost bypass valve. I need new lines for sure.
