Other than that he has almost the exact same setup that i will have....Compression ratio and all.
i know he put a gen 5 on but didnt get any times with it on. it prolly would have gone 11.8. have you looked at the zzp aluminum heads?
yeah and i've done some reasearch and the is4 heads from intense and the aluminum ones flow almost the same. The only difference is the exh port on the zzp head flows less than the one on the is4 head... and for getting the exact same head (same valves ect) that intense has i'll do my own port work to make them flow just as good(just bought some stock ported heads with bigger valves). even if i dont i got them for almost 2000.00 cheaper...It is not worth it to me to get aluminum heads and not gain much hp at all and waste 2000 dollars.
ok yeah i couldnt agree more, unless they were like 1000 or so. i didnt know if you were a person who had the money to buy them or would take the time to port a set yourself. i like to do the work myself i would say is3 or the xpz would be your best bet on the cam. and how streetable is the xp cam? gas mileage?
Xp cam...perfectly streetable. I think anything can be streetable with tuning but im not sure.
I just can't see where a cam with high lift will hurt me any as long as i have the engine work to back it up. Such as Higher compression (wich i will have 1:2 aprox more than stock) port work and Because of the power adder that i will be running and the amount (125 shot Max) also considering that I will have Bigger intake and exhaust valves installed in the heads......
And for the fact that the m90 likes a high intake lift cam and nitrous likes the opposite....
IS4 It is.
Enless some one can give me some facts why they don't think it a wise choice for my combo.
The reason I say Exhaust bias and Intake Bias is that a M90 likes a cam bigger on the intake to ram the air in without blowing it through the cly. This has little to do with the lift you need to look at duration a LSA. To much overlap and you will blow most of the boost right out the exhaust valve before it closes.
Well as far as the LSA goes I belive it is the same as the xp. I know it's very close. I belive the xp is 116 and the is4 is like 115.
