Hey folks been having an issue lately as it has been extremely cold these last few weeks. be getting substantial KR when I just start driving in the morning. after about 20-25 minutes of driving its gone. I have discussed with scottydogs about it and he thinks it could be a knock sensor issue or motor mounts. I will post a video link below where the car is at operating temp and still getting 2°-5° when crawling at speeds of 15-20mph. I have seen spikes up to 15°-20° if temps get near 0°F. Also if I brake torque the car KR spikes as well now this would point to the motor mounts or maybe a combination of MM's and knock sensors. I will follow up with another video tomorrow when the car is not at temp.

Also the other day I made a thread about the car randomly getting lazy I believe this to be the culprit as I didn't have my scan gauge hooked up and couldn't read KR - car obviously acts up when its getting 10°-20° of KR

Also the car is not showing any DTC's

    Thanks

    BTW car is :

Did you check the motor mounts?

Or are you just kinda guessing?

It's even harder for us to figure it out without any details from your end.

I would flip the stock dogbone mounts for one, and check the lowers...then, check for sway bar and downpipe contact...and report back.

I checked the trans and motor mounts a few nights both are in decent shape no leaking fluid ect.

And I never recall you saying anything but to flip the sway bar. You may have said something about the motor mounts not sure

Have someone start the car for you while you take a look at the mounts.. Makes sure the engine isn't moving back and forth to be 100% sure they aren't a issue.

I spoke with a few other members aswell all seem to point to the cat being clogged causing false KR. anytime after a WOT pull I get a woooft of rotten fart. I will be putting the 3in DP in hopefully this weekend... weather permitting of course

Looking at the motor rock when starting car vs putting in P,R,D ect. the motor only moves 1-1.5 inches maybe a bit more maybe less but I also didn't bust out my tape measure or ruler.... there is no significant rocking when doing so
