If the car didnt have the chiller the temp would stay are 80-90 then rise even more to well over 100 and take longer to cool back down. Seems like it would take well over 10 seconds to start hitting above 100ยบ intake temps with that chiller compared to a normal intake system that would make temps jump from an already warm air to even hotter.

And you wouldn't even have to really tune for it, the car is smart enough on its own to know what to do. Sure maybe you could add more fuel/timing yadda yadda right away then just let the car determine what's best as time goes on.

The vehicles A/C is not changed, its just added on to, the system works 100% normal as it always would. You are just adding more to it thus why in the specs it says it would need 5-6oz extra of freon for the added lines.


I think its an okay idea, but its not for everyone.
