I'm having an intermittent starting issue. Once in a while (usually after short drive) I turn the key to start and I get nothing, no click, no lights dimming. In the run position everything is working correctly. I have a new starter and battery. I'm thinking that maybe the ignition switch is going intermittent. It doesn't happen very often. Does anyone have a good schematic showing which fuses, etc. are involved? Thanks.

take a look at the ignition switch/harness- i changed mine out and a lot of problems went away. that switch turns several circuits on everytime you turn the key on. the switch can wear out and cause problems. it caused a problem with my car- the hvac and automatic lights would turn themselves off at random times.

Your ignition switch feeds the transmission range switch which feeds the stater soleniod.

If the range switch doesn't allow the power through, it thinks it's not in P or N
