There has been a debate for a while that the stock rockers actually create more valve lift then a 1.8 roller rocker. it has something to do with the geometry where as the stock rocker approaches max life that the tip to valve contact drifts farther away from the fulcrum. where as a roller rocker maintains the same distance. It was also said that cars dynoed with stock rockers actually saw a HP decrease by switching to roller 1.8's
I would say another option would be the ER rockers or mod'd 1.9's. Or go with 1.9 roller.
