motor mountsuse a wrench or screwdriver by the converter opening there are dowl pins in there "holding" it in place
Ok i will try that and yes motor mount is undone
now why would you want to separate such a good working combo![]()
If you got the backwards facing bolt, then you have the bracket between the engine and trans off by the power steering pump too?
I wouldn't force it it should just fall apart in your lap something is still holding it together.

Bracket by power steering pump no that must be it i will un bolt it when i get home never thought there would be one way over there lol
How did you get the backwards bolt out btw? damn must have been a pain. If you take that bracket off first you can take about a 2' of extension on a 18mm and zip the "backwards" bolt right out.
I had my headers off so i just got it from up top
Not yet
What are you waiting for?
Been busy porting but its coming out this weekend
Also a lil tip... Put a piece of wood under the trans pan and jack it up to keep it level and maybe raise the pass side a little higher. When you undo the bracket under the PS pump, then break the bell house loose from the motor the trans will want to "fall" into the motor. If you raise the trans back up, it will make things a lot easier and your flex won't drag on the bell housing as much.
Everything is allready un done bellhousing im gunna remove ps pump and braket tomorrow
If you don't support the trans, you typically destroy the CV boot that lands on the subframe.
Then why seperate them in the engine bay and pull seperately? That's extra work.
FWIW you don't need to pull it to degrease. You can do 95% of the bay with the trans in place.
