thre is a final bolt at the back side of the tranny, you have to use about 2 feet of extensions to get to it. its an 18mm also.
what is the genral area do I need to take the tire off to see it. Was looking over the haynes manual again it says something about a tranny to engine brace on right side by oil pan.
well there is that too, you need to take the passenger side tire off to see the area, then you have to take that bracket off, goes front he differential cover with two bolts to the block with two bolts, take it out then directly behind that you can see the last bellhousing bolt with a light, you will need about 2 feet of extensions to get to it
lol
thanks for the help got the engine out. My 12 yr old girl had a blast operating the hoist to raise the engine. I would of never found the bolt without all your help. so how do you get it back in without dropping the bolt or cross threading it.
Every engineer should have to take apart what they design this one must of been smokin crack when he came up with the hidden bolt.![]()
to get it back in... take some duct tape and wad it up in the socket so it sticks to it so you can feed it back into the hole, then start it by hand with those extensions, you will be good to go.
FAIL
ehh i dont care, just put the bolt back in, its there for a reason. besides, work at a dealership and do that, when it comes back for a problem ,![]()
holding together the massive amounts of torque the l67 makes lol
if a bolt came out of something put it back in!!! dont half ass things....
omg why
