My 98 GTP will crank for at least 10 seconds before starting. If I turn the key to prime the pump a few times, it takes less cranking to start. How can I determine if it's the regulator not holding pressure or the pump getting weak? It runs fine and has never died or failed to start.

Also, is there a stock replacement pump that does not include the whole module with it? I'd really prefer not to replace the whole sender assembly when it's not bad.

pull the vac line off the furl pressure regulator, if fuel comes out when you do that, its bad.

Will give it a try. Any idea if I can get a stock replacement pump only?

Maybe on Rock Auto you can.

Also, when was the last time the fuel filter was changed?

I assume you mean Key on Engine Off for this fpr test, pulling vacuum line?

Key position doesn't matter. If there's fuel in the line, the reguator is bad.
