    Oh no, that's not the case at all. Headers help the engine on a positive way flat out. But I'm just saying that you won't have all the "grunt" from a dead stop like you do now. The way I look at it, a lack of low end won't hurt you from a dig since you won't be breaking the tires loose as easily, but the better the engine breathes the better it performs.

    headers are always going to be better, but if i wanted a torque monster that would be nothing but excitement on the street i would just run some PEMs.
