I think EGR delete will increase cylinder temps and is recommended against without an intercooler. I may be wrong.

well because since now that the exhaust gases are no longer there, more air and fuel are now taking up that space and making a smidge more heat, but if you got headers it can get that heat out faster with no problems. I have zero issues with having no egr on my car and wouldnt think twice about it again.

I think one benefit IMO is keeping the intake system cleaner... Your dumping all that carbon and exhaust in there, it cakes up everything... Me personally, I love keeping everything nice and spotless... :-)

    EGR sucks.

Emissions are dumb and are for hippies.

Take it off...let your engine enjoy fresh air...not recycled hot exhaust crap air.

Which is the reasoning behind gunked up, carbon filled throttle body issues. It costs 2 cents and some RTV.

So being new and uneducated on this subject, what does deleting it do? More power? More efficiency? I've heard about it and was just wondering.

Where might I be able to find the block off plate for the EGR valve. I know ZZP has a block off plate for the exhaust hose for the EGR, but is there a plate for the actual EGR itself?
Who ever said "Out with the old and in with the new."?

The egr goes away you need two block off plates one goes on the exhaust and one goes on the intake manifold under the tb

Yeah...you use the factory ones after you cut off the gold factory tubing from each bracket...

I used the two old tabs and welded the holes shut. The only tricky part it grinding the weld flat.My main reason for the delete was not having that ugly a$$ egr solenoid
