Flip your upper motor mounts and make sure your lower mounts are up to par and it shouldn't have a issue.

on my 03 gmc, when my clutch fan went bad for the 3 rd time, and i was out of warranty, i took the stock fan off and got this pair of 16' pro comps fans for less then 50 for the pair. spent another $8 on a mounting kit.

a GP would need a smaller fans of course, but these fans really do work well. my truck ran a line cooler as well. and the a/c was never colder either.

and this was how i ran them, no more fan shroud. and it ran cooler. when parked if you dropped a sheet of paper at the grill it would suck the paper right to the grill. make sure they have S blades as well.

You keep saying this but it's not the case. I had new mounts all around. I flipped my dog bones. It didn't help the headers were resting against the metal motor fan casing.

Since noone else has had the issues I assume I have a bad batch of sd headers. This was the cheapest most time efficient way of fixing it since I wasn't about to rip off the headers and pay more then the fans to send them back for replacements

Keyword "shouldn't" there's always gonna be that one guy that it doesn't work for while it has worked for 100 other people's I throw the suggestion out there because the odds are great that he won't need slim fans. But now in case he does have the issue he knows the next step to take.

Wrong. Same design. Both are going to turn rainbowish when they've been heated enough.

Yeah ive had both brands. No issues with previous set of ssac. Unfortantely I couldn't get a hold of them.. Heard some bad rumors. So I just called sd and they were at my door in a couple days.

04+ cars and impalas usually have low clearance. Both my friends 04 and impala are damn near touching the heat shield.
