    I took off my tips to see if it made a difference. To my surprise it actually did. It sounds more throaty at lower rpms now.
    1999 Grand Prix GTP. 157xxx miles and climbing everyday.

    stock tips?

    1997 GTP . repainted in jet black with blue pearl. rebuilt motor
    with vs cam ported heads and blower.

    That's pretty weird. On my Flowmasters at least, not having tips sounded the same as having some put on later.

    Had my stockers cutoff and drove to another shop to have new ones welded on it did change the sound a bit

    It's more of just an echo sound because it is exiting under the car now. But I like it
